He holds a B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from IIT–BHU Varanasi, a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Houston, an MS in Law from Northwestern University's Pritzker School of Law, and an MBA from Cornell University's SC Johnson School of Management.
